Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles is a non profit 501(c)3, no kill rescue committed to saving all types of German Shepherd Dogs from high kill shelters and adopting them to loving, qualified homes.

Darina von Dassow

Darina von Dassow is a beautiful, smaller-sized, long-haired, 2 year old German Shepherd. Darina has the most striking plush sable coat that will turn heads wherever you go! This mid-energy sweetie-pie walks great on leash, with her head up high and her tail wagging throughout the walk. Although she is new at Westside, she is already comfortable with her surroundings and seems to fit into new situations easily. She prefers to meet dogs slowly, but is tolerant with pushy puppies and male dogs. Darina loves to be petted, although this independent girl is also happy doing her own thing. As a “Queen Bee” type girl, she likes to be the one and only female in the group, and will react to other female dogs. Her playgroup was an all-male one and she did wonderfully, introducing herself to everyone and making friends with them. Sweet and gorgeous Darina will undoubtedly find her dream home very soon; she just hopes that it is one without small dogs and cats (they’re too much fun to chase.)
